Process: To develop this piece, I explored a range of thumbnail sketches and directions before narrowing in on a playful “Plants vs. Zombies” inspired look. From there, I layered in steampunk details—gears, pipes, and mechanical textures—to create a more unexpected, story-driven visual. For the final artwork, the constraint was to work with only two colors, using their tints and shades to build contrast and depth. This limitation pushed me to be more intentional with value, hierarchy, and shape. Overall, it was a fun project that challenged me to merge two very different themes into one cohesive, graphic solution.
